Ryder Jay-Allen Shepard

Ryder Jay-Allen Shepard, infant son of Ricki Jo and William Shepard Jr., passed from this life Friday evening, March 8, 2013 at Sidney Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 13, in the First Christian Church with Pastor Mark Zalesky officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

Friends may stop at the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel on Tuesday to sign Ryder’s register book and leave condolences for the family.

Memorial contributions may be made in care of the family.

Gehrig-Stitt Chapel & Cremation Service, LLC is in charge of Ryder’s care and funeral arrangements.

Survivors include his parents, Ricki Jo and William “L.B.” Shepard Jr. of Sidney; one brother, Joseph; one sister, Haillee; his grandparents, Brad and Victory Wernsman of Sidney and Barry and Nina Shepard of Potter; great-grandparents, Creg and Lenora Barker of Sidney, Mary Wernsman of Sterling, Colo., and Licia Hewett of Kansas City, Mo .; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members.

Ryder was preceded in death by his Aunt Beany; Uncle Jimbo; and great-grandparents, Nina and Roy Martin.
