Chappell clinic closed during last half of month for remodeling

The Chappell Area Medical (CAM) Clinic will be temporarily closed for remodeling Sept. 16-29.

The CAMs Clinic is a division of Sidney Regional Medical Center and was part of the recent merger with the Physicians Clinic.

“CAMs is a very important part of our family practice” stated Jason Petik, chief executive officer at SRMC, “the clinic was built in 1979 and was in need of some minor repairs that we believed required closing the clinic during the remodel. This is the best course of action for our patients and supports our mission. We are ever mindful of the importance of providing a safe and clean facility and providing the high-quality care they have come to expect from our organization.”

The remodel project for CAMs is another initiative by the Health Center Foundation (HCF).

“It is our mission as a foundation to assure there is, and always will be, a strong financial foundation to support our health care community" stated Mitch Muhs, chairman of the board for the HCF. “Through the generosity of our donors, we help to assure that the members of our area continue to have local, quality healthcare centers far into the future. From the dollars raised during the recent health fair and golf tournament, we were able to support the financial needs for this project”.

In the interim, patients are encouraged to continue to contact the clinic by calling 308-874-2255 or the SRMC Physicians Clinic at 308-254-5544 to set up appointments prior to or following the remodel.
