Stingrays claim 139 medals in finale

RUSHVILLE, Neb. – In the final swim meet of the season – known as the “Medal Meet” – the Sidney Stingrays came home from Rushville with the most hardware by collecting 139 total medals with 50 of them being gold. Swimmers were awarded a medal for finishing in the top three places in each event.

Sidney far outpaced runner-up Torrington, which collected 53 total medals. Alliance finished second in golds with 17 to edge out Torrington, which had 16.
