PILS to hold Information Fair April 14

Panhandle Independent Living Services (PILS), a United Way Agency, is sponsoring an “Information Fair,” previously known as the Joint Agency Meeting (JAM). Cosponsoring the event are UnitedHealthcare, Community Plan of Nebraska and Panhandle Developmental Disabilities Council.

This is an event open to all who are interested and seeking information on services offered in and around the Panhandle, for any type of disability or inability, from AARP and various support groups to mental health and veteran services and everything in between.

PILS has a directory with over 100 agencies and organizations listed. More than 50 of these will be represented and providing information on their services and products at the fair.

There will be something for everyone, including programs that you may not know about.

The Information Fair will held Thursday, April 14, at the Civic Center in Gering. This is an open house for everyone so stop in anytime. Booths will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
