Susan K. Rezanina - Obituary

Memorial Services for Susan K. Rezanina will be conducted at 11 AM on Monday, July 2nd at Bustards Funeral Home in Casper, WY by Paul Marvle.

Cremation has taken place.  

Susan passed away at her home on June 24, 2018. She was born April 21, 1949 in Casper, WY. She was the daughter of Wilber K. Cook, Doris (Flowers) Cook, and Margaret (Jordan) Cook.  She graduated from Kelly Walsh High School in 1967. She married the late Roger A. Perea the same year, and they had two children Stacey and Amy.  Susan worked for the Federal Government, Small Business Administration for 42 years, and was to retire in 2019.  

In 2006, she married Tom Rezanina. She enjoyed her dogs, camping,cooking,sewing, and dancing. She also loved to go fishing and boating with her husband, and earned her nickname "fishing buddy".  Susan had a strong worth ethic that showed with her home, dedication to her job (42 years), and her passion to maintain the upkeep of two homes. She did not shy away from hard work of building fence, painting, she planted hundreds of trees,cleaning and improvement of the homestead south of Sidney, NE.  She enjoyed meeting people, and could carry on a conversation with just about anybody.  She was very well liked by many, and she was known to  outwork most people younger than her with all the energy she had. 

Survivors include her husband,Tom,daughters, Stacey (Todd) Pearson of Laramie, WY and Amy (Bryan) Johnson of Casper, Jim (Shannon) Rezanina of Casper, Angie (Donnell) Rezanina of Casper, 9 grandchildren, siblings, JoLynn (Tom) Cover, Ann (Eric) Hunting, Chad (Kristie) Huffaker, Steven Huffaker, Sheree (John) McAteer and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Jim, great-grandmother Ollie Cook, and her beloved and faithful companion Mazie May.
