Delta Dawn When That Light Comes On

Week 29

“These [words of God] are seeds sown in good ground: those who hear the Word, accept it, act on it and bear fruit some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundredfold.” Mark 4:20.

Faith-SEED is over and above the tithe for a specific vision or dream.  Ask for seed to sow.  2 Corinthians 9:10.   Sow any percentage of NET increase.  Choose the time, place and purpose.

God is looking for your plan.

Every seed has a harvest date. Genesis 9:22 “While the earth remains, seed-time and harvest ... shall not cease.”   Name the seed to match the need.  Write it down!  Need a car?  Sow into a transportation fund; if a house, into a building fund; if for land, into an expansion fund.  Faith-seed multiplies continually, especially when cultivated, watered, and reinvigorated with continued giving..

Choose fertile ground, for God-fruit is gained in faith-seed planting.  Luke 4:18 highlights such a choice church or ministry.  Acts 2 relays Holy Spirit’s work in a New Testament church or ministry.  It has His power.  It has His compassion.  It has His agreement in a Blood covenant.  And, you are received as sent by Jesus.

A Steward’s Recipe for Riches: “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.  The peace that passes understanding will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.  Finally, Brethren, whatsoever things are true, noble, just, pure, lovely, and of a good report, if there is any virtue and if there be anything praiseworthy, meditate (contemplate, mutter) on these things!”  Philippians 4:6-8

Once out of debt, Frank and I began to sow for a ministry vehicle.  We asked the Lord to show us just the right one.  As years passed, we continued to sow and believe.  One winter, our children came to Fort Collins for a visit and we decided we might look at cars, while there.  I asked Frank how we would know which one was the exact car.  He said, “It will be red, with mud flaps and a tow package.”

Cutting to the chase, the lot had one red, 2012 GMC Acadia.  It had mud flaps and a tow package.  The salesman’s first name was my maiden name and he was born on Frank’s birthday!  The VIN number contained an email code I used, Frank’s birth year and the year we were married.

A JOY Family member stepped forward to pay for this miracle.  I drove our red “Ark” with mud flaps and a tow package, off the lot 18 days before the bank’s president, a former CSU classmate of mine, got funds transferred to the dealer.  Mark 11:23-26 is REAL!  I praised and worshiped our Awesome God 170 miles home as per Proverbs 10:22!

Father watches over seed sown.  “This is the confidence we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.  And, if He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petition that we have asked of Him.”  I John 4:14, 15 .
