Vickie Smith received the Caring Kind Award for Sidney Regional Medical Center. The center's CEO Jason Petik made the presentation. Smith is the volunteer coordinator for the Helping Hands Reception Volunteers and is also a board member for the Health Center Foundation. Smith is an active volunteer serving others in many areas of the SRMC facility as well as in her hometown of Chappell. The Caring Kind award is sponsored by the Nebraska Hospital Association.
