| SIDNEY – Everything went according to plan, and that plan saw the healthy delivery of Garrett Mills on Jan. 19 at 11:12 a.m. in Memorial Health Center. Parents Mike and Cynthia Mills were beaming with pride Wednesday just hours before Cynthia and Garrett’s scheduled release later in the afternoon. Mike and Cynthia were ready to take young Garrett home to Iliff, Colo., where the family resides. Mike, an employee of 21st Century Equipment, was all smiles as he held his baby boy in Cynthia’s room. Cynthia said it was the plan all along to have Garrett delivered at Memorial Health Center, where all her prenatal care was done. “We had heard great things about the hospital and Dr. Shaw,” Cynthia said. As a welcoming gift for the first-born child in Sidney this year, Garrett received a blanket made by the Family Career and Community Leaders of America and books. The hospital gave the family a steak and shrimp dinner with some sparkling cider to mark the occasion. Click Here To See More Stories Like This |
