The City of Sidney named Ed Sadler as its new city manager on Wednesday morning. Sadler was chosen from three finalists for the position. He is currently the city manager of Webster City, Iowa. Cabela’s Incorporated announced in a press release Tuesday afternoon that Scott K. Williams has been appointed president, effective immediately. Mayor Mark Nienueser suggested taking submissions for possible names for Sidney's new aquatic center at Tuesday's City Council meeting. The public can make a submissions for the name to the city or Geri Anthony, interim city manager, until the next city council meeting on Feb. 23.
