    Edgar Almond appeared in district court Wednesday with his lawyer Steven Elmhauser in front of Honorable judge Weimer. Almond is being charged with possession of a destructive device, a class IV felony. The charges stem from an incident called in to the police department on Sept. 14, which tipped police off that Almond illegally was making explosive devices in his van.     Tonya Yates, 37, of Sidney was in District Court Wednesday in front of District Court Judge Derek C. Weimer, for an entry of plea hearing on the charge of aiding consumation of a felony, a class IV felony. In court, special prosecutor for the Sate of Nebraska, Doug Warner, read the allegations against Yates. Warner read that on May 21 2015, Yates was arrested in Logan County Colorado with Mindy Richmond for allegedly attempting to burglarize a home.     Dale Hotes appeared in Cheyenne County district court with his lawyer Don Miller in front of Honorable Judge Weimer Wednesday. Hotes has been charged with attempted assault on a police officer, a Class IV felony, and terrorist threats, which is a Class III felony. If found guilty on all charges Hotes will face up to six years in prison.
