    A hearing for a 19-year-old Sidney man accused of selling marijuana was called off Thursday afternoon after his attorney met with the prosecution. Zachary Borges, a Sidney High School senior, is next scheduled to appear in Cheyenne County Court on May 28 at 1:30 p.m. for a status hearing. Borges is represented by Sidney lawyer Donald Miller, who was out of the office on Friday and unavailable for comment.     Cassie Challburg, pre-school teacher at the Learning Korner, organized a Change for Children competition for the kids at the Kids Korner and Learning Korner. For a week, each class collected spare change to see who could raise the most. The children at the day care and pre-school surpassed their goal of $200 by raising more than $500.     CHADRON – The Sidney High School boys’ golf team shot its best score of the season to finish second at the Western Conference Tournament on Thursday at Ridgeview Country Club. Sidney fell eight strokes short of winner Scottsbluff as it shot 325 to the Bearcats 317. Chadron (346) finished third with Gering (358) and Alliance (361) finishing fourth and fifth.     Sidney High School has named Ryan Plummer as the new head coach of the Red Raiders’ cross country program. He takes over from Tony Neels, who has accepted an offer to teach with Gothenburg Public Schools to be closer to family. Plummer, who has been an assistant coach on the varsity basketball team and head coach of the junior varsity team as well as a middle school track coach, has not previously been a cross country coach.
