    Sidney's Torch Run Wednesay is poised to be the biggest in Nebraska history. Sponsored by Nebraska Law Enforcement, the event creates awareness for and benefits Nebraska Special Olympics, held in Lincoln. "The largest run in 2012 was in Lincoln had around 70 runners," Lt.     In a regular board meeting of the Cheyenne County Commissioners, members received annual reports from the County Guardian ad Litem Attorney (GAL) and the County Public Defender. Last year, Commissioners made the decision to take bids for the two positions to reduce costs to the county in the event a GAL or Public Defender has to be brought in from other areas.     Carley Witt placed fifth in the ladies division at the 49th Cornhusker National Junior/Senior High School Trap Shoot. More than 2,400 youth participated in the trap shooting event that was held in Doniphan May 3-5. In trap shooting participants shoot at targets called "clay pigeons" these targets are typically launched into the air by spring traps.
