    Long lines of people waited to pay for their discounted books, toys and collectibles during the final clearance sales at the Book and Coffee Corner this past weekend. The store, which opened in 1974, will be closing its doors permanently later this month, according to Cindy Rohm, current owner of the business.     Despite being penalized 11 times for 80 yards, the Sidney Red Raiders stomped their way to another impressive win-this time by a score of 43-6 over Adams Central on their homecoming Friday night at Weymouth Field. The Red Raiders are now 2-0 to start the season. Penalties have been just about the only weak spot in the Red Raiders' armor so far this year.     The Sidney cross country teams looked very promising in their first meet of the season, Friday afternoon at Monument Shadows Golf Course in Gering. As a team, the varsity boys came in second overall out of 14 teams with a score of 35.     The Sidney High golf teams had the luxury of playing their first two tournaments of the season at their home course, Hillside. With the comfortable feeling of familiarity on their home course, the varsity team came in third place at both tournaments.
