    A garage located at 604 16th Ave. was destroyed by fire on Tuesday. Stacey McKnight, owner of the property, said she was startled awake at 4 a.m. by the sound of her neighbor pounding on her front door. "I don't even know my neighbor's name yet," she said, "but he was yelling, 'You gotta get out of bed! Your garage is on fire!' Interestingly, they follow in the footsteps of Wayne's parents, Delbert and Velma Hawkins, who previously served as parade marshals.     Runza restaurants raised more than $43,000 as part of its “Great Books for Great Kids” fundraiser on Sept. 16. All 80 Runzas in Nebraska, Colorado, Iowa and Kansas donated 15 percent of sales that day to purchase books for libraries, schools and school foundations in communities with a store location.
