Why should adults have all the fun at Oktoberfest? While grownups are enjoying the festivities at the beer tents during Oktoberfest, kids can let loose at Rocktoberfest, a safe and fun alternative. The Sidney High girls’ golf team performed well at the Best of the West tournament in Gering on Wednesday. Twelve golfers from five schools – Sidney, Chadron, Gering, Bridgeport and Kimball – competed in the tournament held at Monument Shadows Golf Course. Sidney golfers represented half of the field.
