    Stephen McKay|Jan 31, 2014

The Creek Valley struggled without their top scorer, dropping a one-sided affair to Sutherland 65-39 on the road. The Sailors outscored Creek Valley 20-3 in the first quarter and went on to establish a 36-11 lead at the half. The Storm were hampered by the absence of Summer Mueller, who could not attend the game due to illness. “We just didn’t come out to play at all that first quarter,” said Creek Valley Head Coach Bill Wilbur. “We ended up playing a lot of our younger players in the game.” The Storm’s record slipped to 8-5 while Sutherland... Full story
