Chadron State track athlete Barrett Browne from Sidney performed well for the Eagles at the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships at Spearfish, S.D., last weekend. Browne, a freshman, placed fourth in the men’s long jump at the RMAC meet Browne had a career-best leap of 23-0. His previous best was 22-3 ½. The Chadron State men finished second in the team standings with 151 points.
