The Sidney Jaycees have rescheduled the Super Shooters competition at the Cheyenne County Community Center for Sunday, Mar. 9, at 2 p.m.
The event was postponed after last Sunday’s snow storm.
Super Shooters, which is being sponsored by Miller Office Products, is an individual timed basketball competition. Boys and girls ages 6-13 compete together in four different age groups.
Competitors are given 60 seconds to shoot from five different spots on the court. Participants will receive two rounds with the best of two used for scoring.
The winners of the Mar 9, shoot can proceed to the 2014 State Super Shooters competition on the following Saturday (March 15). The state event will be held in Auburn with the local Jaycees paying for the cost of registration. The individual participants will be responsible for travel expenses.
