At least nine holes at Sidney’s Hillside course will remain open to golfers at all times despite irrigation work and other projects.
Starting on Monday, March 24, the front nine will be available for play. The backside of the course will be closed for a period of ten days to two weeks as crews replace sprinkler heads.
Once this work is complete, the front nine will be closed for irrigation work. The back nine will, however, be open for play.
League schedules begin on May 19. Course managers expect to open all 18 holes for these events.
Depending upon weather, all construction projects should be finished by June 1.
