Pairs-N-Half-A-Pair Square Dance Club will have a Patriotic Dance at the IOOF Hall from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. with Lucky calling. We will have PLUS dancing from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Saturday, June 28

Ladies Chamber Farmers Market at Hickory Square starting on June 28th from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Any Vendors with produce or crafts are welcome! Contact Margaret Lienemann at 254-7343 for info.

Sunday, June 29

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church is holding their Worship in the Park under the Picnic Shelter in Legion Park, on Sunday, June 29th at 9 a.m. Women of the Cross will be serving a

brunch following worship.

Everyone in the community is welcome to attend!

The Spanish Club will be holding a Car Wash on Sunday, June 29th to fund their trip to Spain! The Spanish Club travels to Spain every two years for the opportunity to enjoy Spanish culture and practice their language. Currently there are 26 students planning to visit Spain. The car wash will be held at the the pürevolution Salon & Sidney Police Department parking lots at 18th & Illinois St. from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 29th. Donations accepted, raffles and giveaways will be held throughout the afternoon!

LIBRARY ACTIVITIES

• Thursday, June 26 – Kaleidoscope Krazy – Youth 4th – 6th grade – 10:30 – Discussion of light and making a kaleidoscope to take home.

Investigation Stations –

All Ages – 2:00.

• Friday, June 27 – Einstein’s Megatronic Cosmic Café – All Ages –(Younger children will need to be accompanied by parent.) – 10:30 – This is a mystery lunch. (Even Einstein took time out to eat.) Participants choose items for their meal; however the items may not be what they thought. This is a test of imagination and innovation on the part of the participants.

• Tuesday, July 1 – Lunch at Petrie Dish Park – All Ages – 12:00 – Bring a sack lunch and listen to stories.

• Wednesday, July 2 – Bubble Buddies Toddler Time – Children ages 2 & 3 – 10:30 – Story and fingerplays.

• Thursday, July 3 – Robots Rule – Children PS (Age 3) – 1st grade – 10:00 & 11:15 - Story and craft about robots.
