Road closure begins on 10th Avenue

Beginning today, 10th Avenue at the intersections of Newton and Osage streets will be closed as part of the final phase of the road improvement project.

Traffic will be detoured to 13th Avenue using Pine Street to access that part of Sidney, north of the BNSF railroad tracks. The 10th Avenue intersections with Jackson, Linden and Maple streets are open to traffic, as well as 10th Avenue between Illinois and Jackson and Linden and Maple.

The section of 10th Avenue between Jackson and King streets remains closed, with paving scheduled to begin this week.
