R/C air show planned for Kimball

The Kimball Kamakazee Klub is hosting a remote control airplane “Fun Fly” on Sunday, Sept. 28 at the Kimball County Airport R/C field. The field is three miles south and a half mile west of Kimball’s stoplight.

Rick Kirby, event coordinator, said the event will feature planes and pilots from Nebraska, Colorado and Wyoming. All R/C pilots are invited to participate and there are no entry fees or prizes.

Check in is at 8 a.m., with planes in the sky from 10 a.m. until late afternoon. Planes will also be on display for spectators to enjoy. There is no admission charge, but on-site seating is limited and fans are encouraged to bring law chairs.

For more information, contact Rick Kirby (308) 235-3338 or (308) 235-5801, or e-mail him at [email protected].
