Test scores up in most areas for Sidney students

Sidney students performed well on Nebraska Standards Assessment tests taken last spring, according to Sheri Ehler, curriculum and assessment director and principal of West Elementary.

Ehler presented an overview of the NeSA results at Monday’s school board meeting, comparing the performance of specific grade levels in Sidney compared with state averages.

Out of 18 total areas tested, Sidney students scored at or above the state average in 13 categories.
