Sidney 7th- and 8th-grade football both winners against Sterling

Sidney Middle School's Eli Ahrens fights off tacklers on his way to a touchdown for the seventh-grade team in the Red Raiders' 14-0 victory at Sterling (Colo.) on Thursday night. Skylar Heineman added the other touchdown for Sidney. Heineman also had an interception, as did teammate Jacob Peckham. Sidney's eight-grade team also won on the road Thursday night, defeating Sterling 38-6.
