1936 to 2015

Phil "Scott" Fulton, 78 of Sidney, passed away at his home Friday, Jan. 23, 2015.

Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Friday, Feb. 6th in the East Lawn Cemetery near Minatare, Neb.

Cremation has been held. Friends may stop at the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel on Thurs., Feb. 5th to sign Scott's register book and drop off condolences for the family. Memorial contributions may be made in care of the family.

Phil Scott Fulton, son of George Edward and Sylvia Deanne (Phillips) Fulton, was born on May 7, 1936 at Gering. Following his education, Scott enlisted in the United States Navy. On Jan. 4, 1964 Scott was united in marriage to Sharan Lou (Arnold) Buckman. He spent many years working for the Nebraska Department of Roads and retired from the United States Naval Reserves. Scott loved to hunt and fish, watch football and baseball and loved every minute he could spend with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include his children: Denise and Robert Willis of Prundale, Calif., Tori and Jeremy Branch, Shawn Fulton and Tracy and Sherry Fulton and daughter-in-law: Tonia Fulton all of Sidney; siblings: Janice DeBoer and husband Bill of Morrill, Mary Lee Bragg of Gering, Zelma Miller of Pasco, Wash. and Jack Fulton of Westminster, Colo .; (1) brother-in-law: Emmett Arnold Jr. of Oklahoma; (1) sister-in-law: Blanche Wiand of Maryland and numerous extended family members, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Sharan, brothers: Dick and Ray and his son: Shane.
