The following person appeared in Cheyenne County District Court on Feb., 19, 2015 before the Honorable Derek C Weimer:

Jarred Neuhalfen, age 22 of Gurley, appeared, with counsel for re-sentencing on Probation Revocation for a charge of Theft by Receiving Stolen Property, a class IV Felony. Neuhalfen was sentenced to imprisonment for a term of not less than 18 months nor more than 54 months in institutions under the jurisdiction of the State of Nebraska Department of Corrections. Defendant received credit for time served – 12 days. Sentence to be concurrent to sentence for Terroristic Threats, a Class IV Felony.

Jarred Neuhalfen, age 22 of Gurley, appeared, with counsel, for sentencing on a charge of Terroristic Threats, a Class IV Felony. He was sentenced to imprisonment for a term of not less than 18 months nor more than 54 months in institutions under the jurisdiction of the State of Nebraska Department of Corrections. Defendant received credit for time served – 79 days. The court found that the defendant pay court costs in the amount of $196.99. Defendant shall have six months following release to pay court costs. Sentence to be concurrent to sentence for Theft by Receiving Stolen Property, a Class IV Felony.

The following person appeared in Cheyenne County Court on Feb., 18, 2015, before the Honorable Randin R. Roland:

Tina Sifuentez, 45 of Dalton, appeared for Preliminary Hearing on three counts of Possessing a Controlled Substance, class IV felony (methamphetamine, hydrocodone and carisprodol). Investigator Zach Goodrich of the Cheyenne County Sheriff’s Office testified. The court found that it appeared that the offenses occurred, and that there is probable cause to believe the defendant committed them. Arraignment in District Court is March 10 at 8:30 a.m.
