STATE CHAMPION: Sidney's Derek Robb wins state title at 138 pounds

Freshman completes perfect 45-0 season

OMAHA – Sidney High School freshman Derek Robb won the Class B state title at 138 pounds on Saturday afternoon at the Nebraska State Wrestling Championships in CenturyLink Center in Omaha.

Robb, who finishes his first prep season with a perfect 45-0 record, decisioned Andrew Null of Plattsmouth, 8-5, in the finals.

Robb is the first state champion from Sidney since Nolan Jenkins won a title at 125 pounds in 1999.
