Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Dates of Lenten soup suppers & Lenten worship services are March 18 and 25

Lenten Soup suppers are every Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.

Lifetree Café Meetings at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church will be on break until after Easter. Upcoming meetings will be posted as soon as that information is available.

Cancer survivor support group meets every third Thursday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Dorwart Cancer Care Center. Great topics/food/fellowship. Call Leslie at (308) 250-1113 with questions.

Pairs-N-Half-A-Pair Square Dance Club will have a St. Patrick’s Day Dance at the IOOF Hall in Gering from 7 to 9 p.m. with Lucky calling. PLUS dancing from 6:30 to 7 p.m.

The Sidney Public Library will host a Spring craft workshop titled “Bunny Buns” Saturday, March 14 from 10 a.m. to noon. Eleanor Plummer from Imagine That will be the instructor for the free program targeted for children ages 12 to adults. Call (308) 254-3110 to reserve your spot as space is limited.

Sunday, March 15

The Nancy Fawcett Memorial Library in Lodgepole will hold a “Computer Helps” class on Sunday, March 15 at 2 p.m. Bring your questions or just come to learn the basics. Bring your own laptop if you want Call the library to register Instructor will be Marty Savely.

Tuesday, March 17

The Jr. Friends of the Library will be meeting on Tuesday, March 17 at 5:30 at the Sidney Public Library. Saturday, March 21

Sidney Regional Medical Center will hold the Leprechaun Leap, a 5K run or 10K walk on Saturday March 21. Register at the Cheyenne County Community Center. The race begins at the Hillside Golf Course. Race will start at 8 a.m. Contact Kiersten at the center at (308) 254-7000 for more information.

Regional West Hospital in Scottsbluff will hold its Third Annual Boxer Rebellion, a 5K run/walk, on Saturday, March 21 at 9 a.m. For more information, call Lucrecia Spady at (308) 630-2842.

The Panhandle Quilt Guild will meet on Saturday, March 21 at 9:30 a.m. at West Way Christian Church, 1701 W. 27th St., Scottsbluff. Jan Sears will present the program “Appraisals and Tips About Quilts,” and Marla Marx will present he class “Illusionary Bars.”
