CAPWN to celebrate 50-year 'Birthday Bash'

The Foster Grandparent Programs at Community Action Partnership of Western Nebraska (CAPWN) and Northwest Community Action Partnership (NCAP) will jointly host a 50-year “Birthday Bash” in recognition of Corporation for National and Community Service volunteers on April 23 from 2-4 p.m. at The Lodge at Heritage Health Care, 2325 Lodge Drive, Gering.

This will be in conjunction with the 2015 Mayors Day of Recognition for the CNCS volunteers that serve in the area. More than 13 Panhandle mayors have been invited to come as well as local and national senators from Nebraska. The event is to recognize the wonderful service that Foster Grandparents do in the Panhandle of Nebraska.

Anyone associated with Foster Grandparents is welcome to attend.

The CAPWN and NCAP Foster Grandparent Programs are funded by the Corporation for National and Community Services and in part by the United Way of Western Nebraska.
