Wendell Pearson

1937 to 2015

Wendell Pearson, 78, passed away Tuesday, April 7th, at his home in Snohomish, Wash.

Wendell Pearson, the son of the late Paul and Lucille (Hiett) Pearson, was born on Feb. 22, 1937 in Sidney. He graduated from Sidney High School in 1955 and attended the University of Kansas graduating from that school. While at the University, he met and married Joan Ricenbow. They lived in Kansas City several years, moved to Fountain Valley, California, where he retired. They later moved to Snohomish, Wash., to be near their children.

His last visit to Sidney was in 2012 when he and Joan came to attend the 100th Anniversary Celebration of the First Christian Church where he was a former member.

He greatly enjoyed the fellowship of visiting and reminiscing with old friends, members and relatives. Preceding him in death are his parents, grandparents, twin brothers, Kent and Kenneth Pearson. He is survived by his wife, Joan, and children Joel, Eric and Amy and their families of Snohomish.
