GERING – The Scotts Bluff National Monument will expand hours for the summer beginning this Saturday.

To better serve visitors, the summer hours at the monument will be 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Summit Road will be open for uphill traffic from 8 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. and the grounds will be open sunrise to sunset. These operating hours will last through Labor Day weekend.
