Dalton Prairie Sooner Museum open Saturday and Sundays from 1-4 p.m., for the rest of the summer.

June 26 & 27

Maddox Motor Company, located at 564 Glover Road in Sidney, will have the monster truck “Rammunition” on display all day on Friday, June 26 and Saturday, June 27. There will be a free BBQ from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. each day as well as a $200 drawing at 1 p.m. both days. Friday, June 26

Pairs-N-Half-A-Pair Square Dance Club will have a Patriotic Dance at the IOOF Hall in Gering, from 7 to 9 p.m. with Lucky calling. We will have PLUS dancing from 6:30 to 7 p.m.

Saturday, June 27

Regional West will hold its first Kids Safety Safari from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, at the Riverside Discovery Center in Scottsbluff. There will be complimentary admission to the Discovery Center during the family friendly event. Vendors will be onsite with fun and educational activities for kids, including seatbelt and bike safety; animal, wildlife, and plant safety; water safety; agriculture safety; gun safety; and car seat safety. The Potter Car Bowl will be held Saturday, June 27 with activities for the entire family. Events include a car show, duckpin bowling tournament, bull riding competition, golf tournament and a melodrama and dinner. For more information, call (308) 879-4451.

Sterling, Colo.-native Richard Steinbach will present his Carnegie Hall “Fusion” piano program on Saturday, June 27 at 7 p.m. at the Sterling Middle School. This concert will be a benefit for the Ivan E. Rundus Foundation. Sunday, June 28

Kimball Promenaders Square Dance Club will have a dance in the old 4-H building in Kimball from 4 to 6 p.m. with caller Marlin Spellmeyer. Picnic at Reader’s house in Kimball at 12:30 p.m.

Senior Citizen and Friends Dance will be held at the Cheyenne County Community Center on Sunday, June 28th from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Music will be by Country Rounders.

July 2-5

A 4th of July celebration will be held in Oshkosh from Thursday, July 2 through Sunday, July 5. There will be a beer garden and live music.

Tuesday, July 7

A Parkinson’s support group for the Western Nebraska area meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 10:30 a.m. at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, 312 W. 16th St., Alliance. Call Dee Brauninger at (308) 763-1254 with questions or email her at [email protected].

Singer Tara Vaughan will perform at the Sidney Fine Arts Center on Saturday, July 11 at 6:30 p.m. There is a cost for tickets.
