Court Briefs 08-27-15

The following people appeared in Cheyenne County Court on Monday, Aug. 24, 2015, before the Honorable Randin Roland:

Brittanie Yack, age 29 of Lodgepole, appeared for a pre-trial conference on a charge of DUI 1st High Test, a class W misdemeanor. Pursuant to a plea agreement, she pleaded to DUI 1st and DUS, class W and II misdemeanors respectively. Sentencing was scheduled for Nov. 9.

Erick Schultz, age 25, of Sidney, appeared for sentencing on a charge of attempted possession of methamphetamine, a class I misdemeanor. He received 90 days in jail with credit for 58 days.

Jeremy Hunter, age 24, formerly of Sidney, appeared for sentencing on a charge of child abuse, a class I misdemeanor. He received 90 days in jail with credit for 34 days.

Jeffrey Dunn Sr., age 45 of Lincoln, Neb., appeared by phone for a pre-trial conference on a charge of refusal to submit to a chemical test, DUI and obstructing, class W, W and I misdemeanors respectively. Hearing was set for Sept. 29.
