Peetz FFA member Davis selected to perform at national convention

Adam Davis, a member of the Future Farmers of America chapter in Peetz, Colo., will perform on stage during the 2015 National FFA Convention and Expo in Louisville, Ky.

Davis, a senior and the son of Brent and Beverly Davis, has been selected to perform in the National FFA Talent Competition on Oct. 28-31.

He will perform on stage and bring excitement and spirit to the convention and expo. He submitted an application along with a recorded audition.

Nearly 45 acts from throughout the country were chosen to perform during convention and expo sessions, meal functions and receptions.

All acts will have the chance to compete in three rounds. Acts will be judged on showmanship, creativity, sound quality, clarity and stage presence. The winner will receive $250 and will be automatically accepted as a member of the 2016 National Talent.

The National FFA Organization provides leadership, personal growth and career success training through agricultural education to 610,240 student members in grades seven through 12 who belong to one of 7,665 local FFA chapters throughout the U.S., Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
