The following person appeared in Cheyenne County Court on Friday, Oct. 16, 2015, before the Honorable Randin Roland:
Floyd Virgil, age 68 of Sidney, appeared for arraignment on a charge of applying for a false homestead exemption, a class I misdemeanor. Pursuant to a plea agreement, he pleaded guilty to applying for a false homestead exemption as a class II misdemeanor. He was ordered to pay $3,859.59 in restitution.
The following person appeared in Deuel County District Court on Monday, Oct. 19, 2015 before the Honorable Derek Weimer:
Jason Vogt, age 30 of Chappell, appeared for sentencing for a probation revocation on a charge of distribution of methamphetamine, a class III felony. He received 24-48 months incarceration.
