Monday, Nov. 9

A meeting for honeybee producers is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 9 at 5 p.m. to review the Noninsured Crop Disaster Assistance Program. It’ll be held at the North Platte Natural Resource District, 100547 Airport Road, Scottsbluff. The NAP sign-up deadline for 2016 honey is Dec. 1.

Wednesday, Nov. 11

A special Veterans Day ceremony will be held at Leyton High School in Dalton. Refreshments will be provided at 10 a.m. The National Guard, color guard, keynote speakers as well as a P.O.W. and M.I.A. ceremony will be included in the event. The ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. in the Leyton High School gym. Sponsored by Post 301 Mintkin Davidson.

The Sidney Elks Lodge #1894 (located at 10th & Jackson) will be hosting their annual Thanksgiving Day Dinner on Sunday, Nov., 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This event is for all Elks Members, D.O.E.S. and their families.
