The following people appeared in Cheyenne County Court on Monday, Jan. 11, before the Honorable Randin Roland:

Timotheus Encinias, 31, of Denver, Colo., appeared for entry of plea on a charge of carrying a concealed weapon – first offense, which is a class I misdemeanor. Pursuant to a plea agreement, he pled guilty to attempted carrying a concealed weapon, which is a Class II misdemeanor. He was sentenced to $500 in fines plus the court costs.

Candy Villanueva, 35, of Sidney, appeared for entry of plea on a charge of obstructing a peace officer, which is a Class I misdemeanor. She pleaded guilty and was sentenced to a $250 fine plus court costs.

Tyson Dowler, 21, of Alliance, appeared for entry of plea on charges of assault – third degree and solicitation of prostitution, which are both Class I misdemeanors. Pursuant to a plea agreement, he pleaded guilty to assault – fight by mutual consent, which is a Class II misdemeanor. He was sentenced to a $250 fine plus court costs.

The following people appeared in Cheyenne County Court on Monday, Jan. 25, before the Honorable Randin Roland:

Jacquelyn Lane, 32, of Sidney, appeared for entry of plea on a charge of failure to report an accident, which is a Class II misdemeanor. She pleaded not guilty. A pretrial hearing was set for Feb. 22.

Keri Clawson, 26, of Sidney, appeared for pretrial hearing on a charge of assault – menacing threats, which is a Class I misdemeanor. The pretrial hearing was continued to Feb. 22.

Brandi Policky, 37, of Sidney, appeared for a pretrial hearing on a charge of theft by unlawful taking - $500 or less, which is a Class II misdemeanor. The pretrial hearing was continued to Feb. 22.

Dave Schrant, 52, of Sidney, appeared for entry of plea on a charge of DUI Refusal – second offense, which is a Class I misdemeanor. He pleaded not guilty. A pretrial hearing was set for Feb. 22.

Dominic Foster, 19, of Sidney, appeared for entry of plea on a charge of DUI – first offense, which is a Class W misdemeanor. He pleaded not guilty. A pretrial hearing was set for Feb. 22.

Matthew Kurth, 31, of Sidney, appeared for pretrial hearing on a charge of assault – third degree, which is a Class I misdemeanor. A jury trial is set for March 18.

Nathan Mortensen, 31, of Gurley, appeared for arraignment on a charge of DUI second – high test, which is a Class I misdemeanor. An entry of plea was set for Feb. 8.

Dustin Hinkle, 24, of Sidney, appeared for sentencing on a charge of assault – fight by mutual consent, which is a Class II misdemeanor. He was sentenced to a $250 fine plus court costs. He also appeared for an entry of plea on a charge of theft by unlawful taking - $200 or less, which is a Class II misdemeanor. He was sentenced to a $250 fine plus court costs and three months probation.

Rebecca Heeren, 29, of Sidney, appeared for entry of plea on a charge of issuing a bad check - $500 or less, which is a Class II misdemeanor. She pleaded guilty and was sentenced to a $50 fine plus court costs and restitution.

Carlos Campos, 27, of Sidney, appeared for entry of plea on a charge of assault – third degree, which is a Class I misdemeanor. Pursuant to a plea agreement, he pled guilty to attempted third degree assault, which is a Class II misdemeanor. He was sentenced to a $250 fine plus court costs.

Algray Pettus, 53, of Hempstead, Texas, appeared for a suppression hearing on a charge of DUI – high test, which is a Class W misdemeanor. Parties to brief the issues.

Joseph Morin, 21, of Sidney, appeared for arraignment on a charge of assault – third degree, which is a Class I misdemeanor. Entry of plea was set for Feb. 8.

Joseph Morin, 21, of Sidney, appeared for arraignment on a charge of assault – third degree, which is a Class I misdemeanor. He pleaded not guilty. A pretrial hearing was set for Feb. 22.

Andre Purrier, 21, of Sidney, appeared for sentencing on a charge of assault – third degree, which is a Class I misdemeanor. He was sentenced to a $300 fine plus court costs and 18 months probation.

Latifa Steinman, 21, of Haxtun, Colo., appeared for entry of plea on a charge of theft by shoplifting - $500 or less, which is a Class II misdemeanor. She pleaded not guilty. A pretrial hearing is set for March 14.

Jeremy Bolzer, 27, of Bridgeport, appeared for sentencing on a charge of criminal mischief - $500 to $1,500, which is a Class II misdemeanor. Sentencing was continued to Feb. 22.

Dennis Carroll, 36, of Sidney, appeared for entry of plea on a charge of failure to report an accident, which is a Class II misdemeanor. He pleaded guilty. He was sentenced to $250 in fines plus court costs.

Riley Cheramie, 18, of Sidney, appeared for entry of plea on a charge of theft by shoplifting - $500 or less, which is a Class II misdemeanor. She pleaded guilty. She was sentenced to $50 in fines plus court costs.

Taisa Harper, 23, of Sidney, appeared for a pretrial hearing on a charge of assault – third degree, which is a Class I misdemeanor. A pretrial hearing was continued to Feb. 22.

James Kulczewski, 55, of Council Bluffs, Iowa, appeared for arraignment on a charge of DUI – first offense, which is a Class W misdemeanor. Arraignment was continued to Feb. 22.

The following person appeared in Cheyenne County Court on Tuesday, Feb. 9, before the Honorable Randin Roland:

Gina Wanzer, 33, of Sidney, appeared for entry of plea on a charge of no Insurance, which is a Class II misdemeanor. She pleaded guilty. She was sentenced to $250 in fines plus court costs.

The following person appeared in Cheyenne County Court on Wednesday, Feb. 17, before the Honorable Randin Roland:

Mark Cape, 54, of Dalton, appeared for entry of plea on a charge of DUI – first offense, which is a class W misdemeanor. Pursuant to a plea agreement, he pleaded guilty to reckless driving, which is a Class III misdemeanor, and open container, which is an infraction. He was sentenced to a $450 fine plus court costs.
