Each year the Lodgepole Valley Shrine Club in Sidney and covering the southwestern part of the Nebraska Panhandle, trucks in several bags of sweet Vidalia onions as part of their fundraising efforts to help local area children.
This year is no different.
Once again, the shriners will be selling 10 lbs. bags of onions for $10. The shriner's onions are expected to be here on or about April 29.
Contact any local ahriner, or visit Foland Farm Machinery located at 1041 Forrest St. in Sidney. As in years, past they will be first-come, first-serve and they do sell fast.
