Raiders finish second at Western Conference

Cool weather didn't dampen the spirits of Sidney High School track teams Friday as they both finished in second place at the Western Conference Track Meet held at Bearcat Stadium in Scottsbluff. Key performances included a silver medal finish by Collin Brauer and the 3200 meter run (above) and Preslie Allen, who won the women's 800, below.

SCOTTSBLUFF – Sidney high school track teams finished second in their respective divisions Friday at the Western Conference Track meet held here Friday.

On the men's side, Collin Brauer finished with what coach John Ganser said was a "big win" with his second place finish in the 3200 meter run. The freshman's strong placing was a big part of Sidney's strong finish, a scant nine points behind men's team winner, Scottsbluff.
