Creek Valley earns third place at home invite

Wyatt McMillen on hole #3 at Creek Valley Invite. McMillen shot an 82 to lead the Storm to third place Tuesday.

CHAPPELL – Creek Valley's Wyatt McMillen shot an 82 to lead the Storm golf team to third place at the Creek Valley Invite Tuesday. Teammate Austin Rowley also finished in the top 10, his 87 good enough for ninth place.

McMillen scored a front round 44, then fired a 38 to finish out his round. McMillen's back nine was the day's low nine-hole score.

Rowley scored 44-43 for his medal. Also scoring for the Storm were Ben Cabela (95) and Brett Godfrey (100).

Bridgeport took the team title with a score of 342, Mullen was second with 361 and Creek Valley finished with 364 points.

Bridgeport's Cole Retchless captured the individual title with a 78, followed by Koby Walker from Mullen with an 81.
