Duane R. Brunner, 79, of New Smyrna Beach, FL died Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Halifax Health Medical Center, Daytona Beach, FL. Mr. Brunner was born June 28, 1936 to Harold P. and Mabel Siefer Brunner in Dalton, NE. He attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, majoring in soil conservation. He was an avid Nebraska Corn Husker fan and was a prior player for their football team in the early 1950's.
