Meg and Joe Elliott traveled along the Sidney trails Friday morning to raise money for suicide prevention. The couple plans to run 50K in 50 states, hoping to raise $50,000 for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP).
Meg Elliot and her husband Joe Elliot are traveling the country to raise money for the "Wake Up America" suicide prevention campaign. The couple completed a 16k run in Sidney Friday before moving on to Wyoming. The Elliot's Sidney run was part of a 50k total in Nebraska.
"Wake Up America" is the journey Meg began when she lost her son Jesse Magana from suicide in 2014.
