Alexander improves score in leading Sidney at Ogallala

Sidney's Emma Alexander shows signs of serious recuperation from a summertime operation, this week shaving six strokes off of what had been her average rounds of golf through the first part of the season.

Alexander has been hovering around 90 so far this season, but shot rounds of 37-47 for a team-leading 84 at Ogallala, closing the day in fourth place.

As a team, Sidney finished in fifth place with a 397.

Tiara Ginther shot a 99 as Sidney's second finisher followed by Dru Rowan and Janay Brauer, who both shot 107. Sidney's final golfer was Paige Langley at 108.

The team travels to Alliance tomorrow.
