Roger Lee Fleshman

Roger Lee Fleshman died peacefully at the VA Community Living Center in San Francisco, CA on July 21, 2017 of Parkinson's disease at the age of 81.

He was born in Corydon, Indiana on June 19, 1936. He spent the first six years of his life there before his family moved to Denver, CO. He graduated from Wheatridge, CO high school in 1954. He worked with his father and brother in Fleshman and Sons Construction Company building houses, apartments, and commercial buildings in the Denver area. He served in the Army from 1957 until 1959. He met and married Barbara Ann McRoberts, formerly from Gurley NE, a Denver school teacher, in 1964. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, hiking, reading, inventing and family. Roger and Barbara resided in several communities during their married life: Denver & Loveland, CO; El Paso, TX; Anderson, SC; Clark, SD; and San Francisco, CA. Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Harry C. and Alice Fleshman, and brother, Harry B. Fleshman.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Barbara, daughter Karen, two grandchildren, and son Gary. Donations in Roger's memory can be made to the National Parkinson's Foundation. http://www.parkinson.org/, 1-800-473-4636.
