Sidney senior Natlie Radcliffe, No. 3, battles against two defenders in the first match of the Tri tournament in Sidney Tuesday. Sidney defeated Chadron in three games in the first set, and Bridgeport in two games in the second set.
The Sidney Raiders swept the tri volleyball tournament held in Sidney Tuesday, Sept. 12, defeating Chadron and Bridgeport High Schools.
The Red Raiders went three games to defeat Chadron: 21-25, 25-22, and 25-17.
As a team, the Raiders had 37 kills with 120 attempts averaging 12.3 kills per set. Junior Payton Jung had a kill percent of 36.6, followed closely by senior Julia Evertson 36.4 percent, senior Natalie Radcliffe with 33.3 percent and sophomore Mattie Johnson with 32.4 percent.
