Peetz moves to second round in playoffs

Peetz No. 11 Bryson Long runs past three Eads defenders with the help of two Peetz players during Saturday's first round of six-man playoffs. Peetz travels to Fleming Saturday for the next round of play. Fleming defeated LaVeta 52-16 to earn the second round of play. The game between Peetz and Fleming is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday in Fleming.

PEETZ- The Peetz Bulldogs made it through the first stage of 6-man playoffs Saturday, defeating Eads 58-8.

"We played very well in our first round," said Peetz coach Scott Sorensen

The Saturday afternoon playoff game between the Eads Eagles and the Peetz Bulldogs started in the Bulldogs' favor and never really changed. The Bulldogs earned 29 points in the first quarter, beginning with the opening kickoff returned for the first touchdown of the game.
