Several local pool players were recently recognized for winning the Summer Session of the American Poolplayers Association's (APA) 8-Ball Pool League.
Winning the Tuesday 8-Ball title was "The Dogs" from Hoondogs in Sidney. 8-Ball MVP awards went to Glenn Morrison, Jay Makris and Corey Wintholz.
Winning teams each session advance to the Western Nebraska APA World Qualifier tournaments to compete for trips to the APA World Pool Championships in Las Vegas.
