Potter-Dix, Creek Valley Meet Tonight

The Potter-Dix Lady Coyotes host the Creek Valley Lady Storm tonight, Friday, Dec. 8.

The Lady Coyotes enter the game with a 1-1 record. They lost to Kimball 66-47 on Dec. 1 and defeated Morrill 54-42 on Dec. 2.

Kimball's Longhorns dominated most of the game, scoring 17 points in the first quarter to Potter-Dix's 11 in the first quarter, followed by 19 points in the second quarter while keeping Potter-Dix to 14 for a 36-25 first half.

Potter-Dix came back in the third quarter, scoring 15 points while limiting Kimball to eight points. Kimball returned the favor in the fourth by scoring 24 points while keeping Potter-Dix to seven points.

Creek Valley's Lady Storm enters the game with a 0-2 record. The Lady Storm lost to Hyannis 62-34 Dec. 1 and Maxwell by a score of 26-15 on Dec. 2.

Freshman Mariah Koenen is the only Creek Valley player to score in double digits. She earned 12 points with six field goals.

All Creek Valley scoring was limited to single digits against Maxwell. Creek Valley scored si points in the first quarter to Mawell's five, five in the second to Maxwell's seven, two in the third and fourth quarters to Maxwell's eight and six. Payje Misegadis, senior, led the team with six points. She completed two of four from the three-point range. Junior Jordyn Koenen earned two points, completing two of four free-throws.

Creek Valley then hosts Bayard on Saturday, Dec. 9. Potter-Dix travels to Paxton.
