Candice Sue Hamilton (Holbrook) - Obituary

Born in Kansas, the beloved daughter of Eva Jean Petroff and Kenneth James Holbrook, grew up in Sidney Nebraska. Candie was the oldest of six children and graduated from Sidney High School in 1964. She has lived in Naples Florida for the past seventeen years.

Candie enjoyed traveling and was always awaiting a new adventure. In her youth she lived in Colorado and enjoyed skiing, camping, and hiking. After moving several times, she found the laid back lifestyle of Florida appealing.

The beaches, collecting sea shells, and boating were some of her favorite past times. More than anything in the world, she loved her grandchildren. She had a zest for life and was full of laughter.

Candie was preceded in death by her father James, brother James Calhoun, and step-father Evan C. "Pete" Petroff. She is survived by her mother Jean Petroff, daughter Tasha Wilson, son-in-law Dr. John Wilson, son Ray Robinson and daughter-in-law Sarah Belieu- Robinson; grandchildren Jackson, Alena, Alexander Wilson and Annie Robinson; siblings Connie, Kathy, Kenneth and Jonnie, many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
