Seniors Fall to Bridgeport
Sidney's Kyler Lenzen had an RBI single in Wednesday's 7-to-3 loss to the Bridgeport Bombers.
Sidney's American Legion Junior Baseball team notched their first win of the season, 9-to-1, against the Kimball Junior American Legion team on Tuesday night in Sidney.
The Sidney team was able to capitalize on six Kimball errors which led to three runs in the third inning and five runs in the fourth for the home team.
Grant Campbell threw four innings of two-hit baseball, only allowing one earned run and striking out six in the victory. Sidney's Izaak Glanz drove in two runs in the fourth while Paul Kratzer drove in one run in the third to power the Sidney team.
